Are repairs suggested by the mechanic during an inspection carried out directly after the inspection?
Sometimes, yes. If the fault is minor and can be fixed within your booked time, your mechanic will do it there and then. If parts are needed, your mechanic reports back to us and Michanic sends you a quote for the parts and labour. Once you approve it, we source the parts and book a return visit at a time that suits you.
How much does a diagnostic inspection cost?

I want to buy a car but the License Disc has expired, can the mechanic still test drive the car at a pre-purchase inspection?
No. Driving a vehicle with an expired licence disc on a public road is illegal, so our mechanic can’t test drive it. We can still carry out the rest of the pre-purchase inspection a full stationary check of the engine, bodywork, electronics, suspension, brakes, tyres and diagnostics and once the disc is renewed, we can arrange a road test.
