A major service on a BMW 3 Series costs R3 244 to R6 220.
That is the all-in price: parts, oil, labour and a free 21-point inspection, from a qualified mobile mechanic who comes to your home or office. Where your car falls in that range depends on the engine. Every variant below is priced in full.
Every price below is the total you pay, with parts, oil and labour together. Nothing on this page is an estimate of parts alone.

At your home or your office. A Michanic mechanic arrives with the parts and oil for your specific vehicle, does the service on site and hands you the inspection report before leaving. You do not drop the car off and you do not wait at a dealership.
No. Under South Africa’s automotive aftermarket guidelines, a vehicle still under manufacturer warranty may be serviced outside the dealer network by an accredited provider using parts of matching quality, without the warranty being voided. We record every part fitted so your service history stays complete and provable.
BMW genuine parts, or original-equipment quality from Bosch, GUD Filters, FRAM, NGK, Shell, Castrol and Elf. You are told exactly which brand goes into your car before any work starts, and the price you were quoted is the price you pay.
A major service is the full-interval service: oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, plugs or fuel filter, and the inspection. A minor or interim service covers oil and oil filter with a safety check and costs less. If you are not sure which interval you are due for, tell us the mileage and the last service date. See major service or all our prices.
Yes. Michanic is a Motorite partner and we process Motorite service and warranty claims, along with claims from other providers. Send us your plan or policy details with your booking and we handle the paperwork.
Enter your suburb in the booking form and you will see straight away whether we cover you and what date is open. Michanic is fully mobile, so there is no workshop to drive to. We come to you.
Tell us the year and engine and you will have the full price for parts, labour and inspection before you commit to anything.
